Innovation Award

J Coffey Infrastructure have recently received the Balfour Beatty plc Innnovation Award at the UKCS Buildings Supply Chain Event.

Working collaboratively with Balfour Beatty at our Tilbury docks project, JCI were able to solve a significant problem by manufacturing the specialist GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast-furnace slag) ship impact barriers onsite. Due to the long curing time of the GGBS these were unable to be externally sourced. This was only made possible due to our extensive experience in reinforced concrete and our pro-active innovative approach to problem solving.
Thank you to all of our team who made this possible.

Berkeley Square Health & Safety Awards!

UKCS Regional Civils Awards!

Our Infrastructure division have taken home the Digital Award for BIM model expertise; presented here by Gwyn Pardoe FICE of Balfour Beatty plc.

At Barnes, producing BIM models for the White Hart and Elm Park culverts was key to overcoming methodology issues and allowed the client to review alternative construction methods leading to the final achievable design.

For the Team 2100 Canvey Island project we produced a BIM sequence model / video of the construction of the foreshore access steps to show the shuttering methodology which was then adopted into the final design.

Special word of thanks to our in-house BIM team for their work on both projects.
