The complete refurbishment of the common areas of two fully occupied 16 storey tower blocks within a gated community on the Hyde Park Estate, London. A major part of the works included the upgrading of fire and safety systems to comply with current standards. These works were undertaken whilst keeping the existing services in place until a full changeover could be effected. All the lift lobbies were refurbished including new ceilings, lighting, heating and carpets. Reception areas were completely overhauled with new mosaic tiling, feature ceilings and lighting together with new reception desks and the renovation of feature ponds.
